# SERPgent > SERPgent helps businesses improve how they are represented when customers ask AI what to buy, who to hire, or which company to choose. A customer may form a shortlist from an AI answer before visiting a business website. A suitable business can be missing or described incorrectly when clear information and supporting evidence are hard to find. ## Services - AI Visibility: Test realistic customer questions, compare business and competitor mentions, check accuracy, and examine cited sources. A baseline, identified gaps, and prioritized actions. - AI Optimization: Improve owned website and product information so AI systems can more easily understand what the business does, who it serves, and relevant capabilities. Clearer product information, buyer answers, comparisons, and corrections to missing or inconsistent facts. - AI Authority: Identify relevant outside sources such as reviews, directories, and industry publications, and help improve the business's presence and accuracy there. Actions to strengthen independent evidence about the business. ## Free check A free homepage tool. Enter a website and SERPgent reads it, works out what the company sells and where its customers are, writes eight questions a buyer in that area might ask an AI assistant, puts each question to an AI model, and counts which companies get named, including the company being checked. The result explains in plain words how many buyer lists the company missed and who was named instead. The check uses one OpenAI model through the API, without web browsing, on a small set of generated questions. It is an indicative snapshot, not a measurement of ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity or Grok, and not a guarantee of results. The AI Visibility service tests more questions, systems, markets and competitors. Available at https://serpgent.onrender.com/#check as a browser form; there is no API for it. ## Who we help B2B, Software and SaaS, Technology, Professional services, Other businesses whose buyers research and compare options. Work is scoped around the markets where the client's customers buy, not only the client's headquarters. ## Process 1. Understand the business, buyer questions, competitors, and target markets. 2.
